Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the AI BPMN Generator for free?

Yes! You don't even need an account. Describe any process in plain English on our AI BPMN Generator and get a full BPMN 2.0 diagram in seconds, no credit card required. For ongoing use — saving your maps, generating documentation, and bringing your team in — sign up for the Free Tier. Free and without a credit card.

What are AI Beats and how do they work?

Beats are the AI credit system that powers all Vevos features — process generation, documentation, auto-tagging, comparison, and more. Each plan includes monthly Beats that refresh each billing cycle. Higher-tier plans get lower per-operation Beat costs, meaning your Beats go further.

What happens when I run out of Beats?

You can still access your existing processes and use the visual BPMN editor. AI-powered features (generation, documentation, search) will be paused until your Beats refresh next billing cycle. You can also purchase add-on Beat packages that never expire and work instantly with any plan.

What are Agent Modes?

Agent Modes let you choose how premium the AI behind your work is. Pick Light for faster, more economical models, Standard for the balanced default, or Max for our highest-capability models — one preference that applies to every AI agent and Conductor build. Modes differ only in the AI models used; there's no per-mode surcharge, and you can switch with one click at any time.

Why do some builds cost more Beats than others?

Beat usage reflects the actual AI work performed: more complex requests take more steps, and stronger models cost more per step. Your Agent Mode is the biggest lever — Light typically uses ~30–35% fewer Beats than Standard, while Max typically uses ~25–40% more, depending on configuration. Repeated context is cached at a discount, and smarter models can finish in fewer turns, so real costs vary by build.

Can I switch plans or upgrade at any time?

Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your account settings. When you upgrade, you get immediate access to the new plan's features and a prorated credit for your remaining billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

What is the AI Conductor and which plan includes it?

The AI Conductor is a single orchestrating AI that autonomously plans, builds, reviews, and deploys business workflows — drawing on specialized expertise across architecture, code generation, database design, security analysis, integrations, and testing. The Conductor is available starting from the Tempo plan, with full enterprise capabilities on Symphony.

Does Vevos support enterprise SSO and SCIM provisioning?

Yes — the Symphony plan includes Enterprise SSO for centralized authentication and SCIM 2.0 provisioning for automated user lifecycle management. Ideal for organizations with strict identity and access governance requirements.

How does Vevos compare to Lucidchart, Bizagi, or Camunda?

Unlike traditional diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io, Miro) that require manual modeling, Vevos generates BPMN 2.0 compliant process maps from plain English using AI. And unlike enterprise BPM suites (Bizagi, Camunda, Pega, Appian) that require months of implementation, Vevos deploys workflows in minutes through the AI Conductor — at a fraction of the cost.

Is there a limit on how many BPMN models I can create?

The free tier lets you generate and refine 3 process models at any point of time. Each paid plan has a process limit designed to scale with your team's process management needs.
